Film makers even stopped making mythological and devotional films for the fear of getting compared with the earlier superhits. Producers vie for Shirdi Sai distribution Rights
Nagarjuna's latest devotional venture Shirdi Sai has been a hot cake in trade. Producers are fighting for the distribution rights of thr film which is due for the release on 6 September. Dil Raju has grabbed Nizam rights. Aswini Dutt has takent the rights of his home district Krishna territory.
No Clash between Father and Son
Nagarjuna’s Rajanna and Chaitanya’s Bejawada were clashed at theaters which made Bejawada a fatal disaster. Now They decided to maintain gap between their movies and avoid collisions.And due to this decision, Naga Chaitanya’s Autonagar Surya release was pushed to November to allow the free run to Nagarjuna’s Shirdi Sai and Damarukham which will be releasing in September and October.
Autonagar Surya is almost complete but for a song and few days of talkie. The new schedule of the movie will began today in Hyderabad. The movie will now be releasing on November 12th.Samantha is the heroine for this movie The movie is very important for Chaitanya as his previous two movies were duds at box office.
Nagarjuna avoids clash with Power star
Nagarjuna's high budget graphical extravaganza Damarukham expected release date is October 12. The makers are trying to make use of Dussera vacation as the film had to recover so much from the theatrical shares itself. However, they have a tough competitor in the form of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, which is also aiming for October 11th release.
As per reports Nagarjuna is not willing to clash with a biggie like CGR. Nag wants his 'different attempt' to stay out of competition to make the most of it. Even if Damarukam is very good, it will surely face the heat of a power star film. Hence, Nagarjuna advised the makers to go for December release. Also he wants a considerable gap between Shirdi Sai and Damarukam.
Shirdi Sai is slated for September release and releasing Damarukam within one month is not a great idea is what Nagarjuna says. As of now there won't be any clash between these biggies. Stay tuned for further updates about Damarukam release.
