Fascinating Doubles Tournament in Tollywood
Till now movie lovers have been treated to love stories, mass entertainers, crime thrillers, horror flicks from top heroes, producers, banners and film makers. However this year they have decided to give a delicious doubles tournament and it is any body's guess as to who could be emerge winners in this fascinating doubles tournament in Tollywood. All the top stars of tollywood and kollywood are also taking part and in some women may also pay a role.
The tournament starts with Victory Venkatesh teaming with Prince Mahesh Babu for his team 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. To lock horns with them young heroes Naga Chaitanya and Sunil are coming with 'Vettai' remake. Family hero Jagapathi Babu is pairing with action hero Vikram to do 'Siva Tandavam'. If this is not enough Venky is teaming once again with Srikanth to cast his 'Shadow'. Sensational star Surya s not depending on others but is coming as two in 'Duplicate' while Priya Mani is all set to show her dual woman power in 'Charulatha'.
Mega Power Star Ram Charan is turning 'Nayak' with his dual treat while he also roped in Stylish Star Allu Arjun for his 'Yevadu'. Movie lovers are keeping close watch on these films and already heavy betting is on as to who could emerge victorious in this doubles tournament in tollywood.

He Is Bigger Than Pawan And Mahesh
If buzz in Telugu and Tamil circuits is to be believed, we have to accept that Tamil hero Surya is bigger than our very own Powerstar and Superstar. The facts are mind blowing, but insiders shared that they are true.
A hero becomes a star when his movies get superb openings, good run and finally a blockbuster hit. And that hero becomes top-star when his remuneration lies on the high and still he is in huge demand.
Right now, Surya is getting 30 crores as a pay cheque for his films and this makes him ahead of Pawan and Mahesh. Both of our Telugu heroes stand at 15 and 10 crores spot only. For his latest film 'Maatran', dubbed in Telugu as 'Duplicate', he got paid 15 crores as salary and 15 crore Telugu rights, making up to a total of 30. With this figure Surya has surpassed all the heroes down South except the one and only Rajnikanth.
Trade experts say that Surya got good market in Tamil anyway and the same kind of market in Telugu. It is this fact that is getting him fat pay cheque to his pocket. So, should our heroes start expanding their presence in other tinsel towns immediately?
Mahesh New movie titled 'Krishna Mukundaa Muraaree'
Few days ago, Dil Raju has officially announced that he would produce one more movie with Prince Mahesh Babu, immediately after completion of 'Seethamma vaakitlo sirimalle chettu'. As per the sources, the movie will be directed by Vamsi Pydipalli which is titled as 'Krishna Mukundaa Muraaree'. This movie is expected to be launched early in the year, 2013.
Currently, Mahesh Babu is busy with the movies 'seethamma vaakitlo sirimalle chettu' and Sukumar's untitled movie. SVSC is expected to be released this year end while Sukumar's movie is slated for summer release.

The first look of multi-starrer flick 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' is unveiled today by Popular Magazine Superhit, one day in advance to Mahesh Babu's birthday (August 9). Mahesh looks dashing in the poster with a new hair style and completely different body language. True to its caption - the first look is 'Simple but Beautiful'.
The best part of the poster are the words of Venkatesh conveying his wishes to Mahesh on his birthday and the most important thing is that he referred to Superstar as his brother ('Happy Birthday to My Brother Mahesh - Venkatesh'). SVSC deals with human relations, especially the bonding between brothers and film lovers can expect a complete family entertainer from this deadly combo.
It may be recalled that the first look teaser of the film which was released on the occasion of Superstar Krishna's birthday on May 31 has received tremendous response. Now, the first look posters will only add to the high expectations on the film. SVSC is surely a trend setter and also a blockbuster written all over it! A Film Worth the Wait!!!
Benchmark for a Tollywood Super Hit
In Bollywood collecting a gross collection of 100 crore in India has turned out to be the benchmark for a successful film. All the stars are aiming to reach that hundred crore mark with every film and we are witnessing more and more in the club in recent times. Likewise our Tollywood too has a benchmark for a super hit film.
Gone are the days where number of centers that the movie runs for fifty or hundred days used to be the true scale to measure a movie's success. Only number that matters now is how much share a movie collects. Tollywood has witnessed a string of super hits in less than a year's time and as per the statistics any movie that collects a share over forty crore can be termed as a super hit.
Businessman, Racha and Eega collected over forty crores share this year and Gabbar Singh went on to cross 60 crore rupees share. Gabbar Singh and Dookudu (55 crores share) were blockbusters as they went an extra mile and made it to 60 and 50 crores clubs respectively. 30 crores share used to be the benchmark for a Telugu film in the past. Now our super hits are crossing that mark in our state alone. Tollywood is shining and how?
Puri disappoints Mahesh fans
Businessman is one film the fans of Mahesh Babu enjoyed the most in the recent years. Although Dookudu was a tremendous success, it's only the terrific performance of Mahesh in this Puri's flick that completely satisfied the 'hungry' fans.
Till recently, everyone believed that a sequel of this action entertainer is on the cards. Even Puri had announced his plans to come up with a sequel to Businessman. Ram Gopal Varma who claimed to have heard the storyline of the sequel from Puri went ahead and declared during the success meet of the film that Businessman is nothing when compared to its sequel. However, Puri now confirms that there willn't be Businessman 2, instead he will come up with a new story for Mahesh soon.
Even Puri made a similar promise (Pokiri 2) earlier, but that hasn't materialised due to the reasons best known to him. Fans of Mahesh are miffed with this crazy director as he is unable to keep his promise for the second time. Although Pokiri 2 hasn't happened, Puri compensated the loss with Businessman. Will he repeat the same trick again is to be seen!

named as ‘Sitara’, says the buzz. Though, there is no formal
announcement from Mahesh Babu or his family members on the same,
filmnagar sources says that Mahesh Babu and Namrata’s baby girl’s name
is ‘Sitara’. We have to wait and see whether ‘Sitara’ is the name of
Mahesh Babu’s daughter or not till we get a confirmation.
