Nandamuri fans fuming at Dil Raju

The recent theatre issue (replacing Srimannarayana with Shiridi Sai in KPHB's Arjun) is bringing headache for some of the bigwigs in the Industry. After producer Ramesh Puppala staged a protest before the theater for replacing Srimannarayana overnight to facilitate a new release has caught the attention of everyone. Nandamuri fans have been upset with the fact that the management resorted to change the film within one week despite running with good collections (60% on week days) and Balayya being a big hero.

Nandamuri heroes are far, far behind!

Nandamuri heroes are not very consistent at the box office in the recent times. In spite of many failures their market is still intact. Balakrishna may have fizzled a bit, but when it comes to NTR, he is still considered as a top contender for number one spot. Nandamuris rule the mass dominated regions. They are more or less equal to other big stars in Ceded, Uttarandhra and Andhra regions.

When it comes to overseas and Nizam they are very weak. Their overseas market is very less compared to other big stars. Mahesh, Pawan and few other directors are sure to get good numbers in this region. But Nandamuri heroes hit films too doesn't register great numbers in overseas. This market is rapidly rising as most of the recent hits crossed five crore mark.

Gabbar Singh, Eega and Dookudu have set the bar high and Julayi is following the suit. Overseas market cannot be taken lightly anymore. Heroes need to concentrate on the elements that click with overseas audiences. Films that do well in overseas will definitely do better in Nizam. Nandamuri heroes need to work on this aspect to reach that 40 crore benchmark. May be Badshah is the film that can break the jinx for NTR there.

Sudden Star mocks Simhas, Tigers

It takes lots and lots of guts to leave alone speak but to look at the Nandamuri icons who are known as Simhas and tigers of tollywood. However Allari Naresh is hearing nothing of those good advices but is going ahead to mock the dreaded simhas and tigers. Allari Naresh who till now making everyone smile heartily this time is turning Sudden Star in 'Sudigadu'. The film directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao and is produced by Chandrasekhar Reddy on Arundhati Movies banner. The film comes with the tagline 'Oke Ticket pai vanda cinemalu'.Film is presently in post production. One wonder how he got that sudden courage to take spoofs at all heroes and especially targeting Nandamuris is still a mystery.

In the film's first look poster which was released recently Sudigadu explain specials of tollywood heroes and in one one liner he says "heroes are experts in thigh thumping and delivering punch dialogues". Even a movie novice and just born baby knows whom these words refer to. Natasimha Balakrishna is renowned and popular for thumping thighs like he did in 'Samarasimha Reddy' and airing powerful dialogues. Young Tiger NTR is also no less reputed in those kind of acts. It has to be seen what will be the reaction of Nandamuri fans and their heroes. Will there be any counters or will they choose to ignore these spoofs as a part of Allari Naresh's comedy acts has to be seen.

How Nandamuri-Akkineni rivalry started ?

Rivalry between Nandamuri and Akkineni family is not new and it has long standing history. It all started after the release of 'Sri Krishnarjuna Yuddham' in which NTR played the role of Krishna which is child's play for him, while ANR played the role of Arjuna. The film became a super hit with superb songs, poems and terrific action from the icons of tollywood. However movie lovers started comparing action of the two stars and after dissecting their performances felt that ANR won't even come to the stature of NTR's feet though he shakes his body, while NTR just sends many messages just by moment of his eyes. Many movie critics also felt the same. This came as a shock for ANR who is the senior most hero than NTR.

This hurt many ANR fans and even ANR himself who went on public saying he won't be doing any films in future with NTR. However they buried their hatchet and later ANR and NTR starred in many more superhit films, with NTR himself going to him and requesting that he suits for the role of Chanakya, when he presented 'Chanakya Chandragupta'. Later they passed the mantle to Nagarjuna and Balakrishna. However both these stars from the beginning avoid clash of their films in any manner. While Natasimha Balakrina became the hero of masses with his powerful dialogues, Manmadhuru Nagarjuna became lover boy in the heart of females with his romantic films.

However all this may change soon with the entry of Akkineni Akhil and Nandamuri Mokshagna. Though families deny their entry, they are planning for a perfect launch for young faces of iconic families. While Akhil is seen in many functions and CCL as his first love is CCL, Mokshagna is relatively new and no one knows much about him. Akhil is already tollywood's 'Sisindri'. It has to be seen how this genex battle unfolds.

Top Heroes hunt for Hot Heroines

Tollywood movie lovers for long have been entertained by top heroes like Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna, King Akkineni Nagarjuna, Victory Venkatesh. However age is now fast catching them up and this is landing them in troubles. Now these top heroes are finding it difficult to get young, beautiful and hot heroines for their upcoming projects. King Nagarjuna who is still regarded as tollywood Manmadhudu and king is not facing that problem much as he is still maintaining that charm and looks surprising movie lovers and stunning all other young heroes by competing with them with renewed energy and youthful exuberance.

Victory Venkatesh many not have faced heroines problem till now except in'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. This was also due to the presence of Prince Mahesh Babu. But he can't be sure of that in future because trouble is lurking for him. Natasimha Balakrishna is facing that problem to huge extent. During his prestigious project 'Paramaveera Chakra' though he scouted for many top heroines, since he couldn't find anyone, he had to adjust with spent forces like Ameesha Patel and Neha Dhupia. In Adhinayakudu he had to adjust with Lakshmi Rai. However for 'Srimannarayana' he got sexy beauties Parvathi Melton and Isha Chawla. They readily agreed to romance Balayya as they are looking for foothold in the industry. While Isha did two hit films opposite young heroes and looking for offers from top heroes, Parvathi Melton is looking for lead roles.

Another top hero who is facing heroine problem is Mass Raja Ravi Teja.Though younger to other stars, he is facing the problem as age is showing on his face. Though he has bundles of energy, this is proving to be his draw back. It has to be seen how these heores will be successful in their hunt for hot beauties.

'Simha' creator's sensational waring !

Boyapati Srinu became the top directors of tollywood based with one sensational film 'Simha' starring Balakrishna. Fans till then who addressed Balakrishna as Yuva Ratna started addressing him as 'Nata Smiha'. That shows the impact Simha created in tollywood and especially with Nandamuri heroes. Though Boyapati did only four films, he is enjoying more stardom thanks to Simha. He recently did 'Dammu' with Young Tiger NTR and NTR himself revealed that he rejected 9 stories narrated by Boyapati before signing Dammu. The film failed to reach upto the expectations of masses as they compared it with 'Simha'.

 Recently Balakrishna celebrated 'Srimannarayana' audio launch. The film is directed by Ravi Chavali and features Balakrishna romancing Isha Chawla and Parvathi Melton. Celebrities who graced the event wished the film makers all the success and some wished that the film would become another 'Simha'. Boyapati speaking at the function showed his arrogance giving strong retort saying no film can become another 'Simha' and one should not try to reach 'Simha' as it is a special one for him and Balakrishna. He asked film makers to think of making films completely different from Simha, rather than trying to out smart and out reach 'Simha'.

Balakrishna to hit 100 with him

Who is going to direct Balakrishna's 100th film? Balayya fans are waiting eagerly to know the answer for this question. After Rajamouli publicly stating that he won't direct Balakrishna's hundredth film, focus shifted to Vinayak, who earlier made Chenna Kesava Reddy with the super star. Vinayak has prior commitments and he may not be available to do the honors.

Right now only option that looks better than any other is Boyapati Srinu, the man who made Simha with Balakrishna. Boyapati hasn't yet committed to do any film after the debacle of Dammu. There are proposals from Mahesh and Charan, but both of them are busy with other projects. So Boyapati is still waiting to sign up his next.

                Balakrishna is keen on signing him up as he knows the mass pulse better than many and also because of his great work in Simha. Boyapati's presence at Srimannarayana Audio launch added fuel to the fire and speculations are rife about Boyapati taking up the prestigious venture. Earlier he said that he would gladly accept another offer from Balakrishna and this is the right time for him to take it, what say?

Anchor Ready For Anything With Balayya

With her continuous choice of words that can flatter anyone on earth, this hot TV anchor not only tied to woo Balayya but stated that she is ready for anything with him. We are talking about Udaya Bhanu and her comments at 'Srimannarayana' audio function.

Anything done in excess will look like over action and same thing happened with Udaya Bhanu's exaggerated dialogues. Words like Bangaru Konda, Aajanubaahudu, Priyatama hero are some of the ones she used. She started describing about his smile, his powerful dialogues, his sweet heart, warm blessings and what not, all those superlatives that are found in 'Oxford Dictionary' are used by her to praise Balayya. However, at the end Udaya Bhanu mentioned that she is ready to do anything for Balayya for the kind of love and affection he is showing towards anchors. She supported her words saying that Balayya is the only hero in Telugu industry who greets and wishes even small anchors.
