Rajni's Sivaji 3D Trailer Released
The film Sivaji which had Rajnikanth in the lead role is going to be released once again in 3D format. This film was produced by AVM. Shivaji’s songs and trailer was released yesterday in the presence of super star Rajnikanth.
The trailer and song sequences were screened for Rajnikanth at Prasad Lab preview theatre. AVM had produced Shivaji which had the combination of director Shankar, super star Rajnikanth, Oscar award winner music composer A R Rahman, cinematographer K V Anand and art director Thotta Tharani.
Rajnikanth while speaking said, ” A V M Saravanan had screened me the 3D film for me. I was astounded seeing it. The audience wil really enjoy this film. The film Kochadaiyaan is also being released in 3D format by Eros International. It will be very good if my films Padayappa and Robot are also released in 3D format. We have the capacity to produce films on par with Hollywood.”

Superstar Rajnikanth is all set make fans go thrilled with his 'Kochadaiyaan' this year under the direction of his daughter Aishwarya. A source close to the unit revealed that the story is about a King and his son, a prince, both played by Rajni. When senior Rajni is king, Jackie Shroff is his rival king and when junior Rajni comes into place, hero Aadi is the villain. Shot extensively in London, Trivandrum and Hong Kong, the film uses the best of latest motion capture and digital imaging technology for the first time in India.
Initially, the film was planned to hit theatres by Diwali, but the makers are now saying that they are aiming on magic date 12.12.12, which also falls on Rajni's birthday. Get ready for this fantastic birthday gift of Superstar guys!

Here are some interesting facts about Rajnikant's Sivaji which is due for the release on 15 June -
- Director Shankar used 2500 junior artists for the introduction scene of Rajnikant.
- A huge set of glass house was built to shoot Sahana song.
- 4K DI (Digital Intermediate) digital camera is used for the first time in India for this film.
- Helium Balloon light is used to shoot a song. The crew has to use 13 helium cylinders for the lighting.
- The team of Shankar saw important footages of most of Rajnikant’s films since his debut in 1975. They found that Rajnikant looked best in Padikkadavan (1985) film. Then Shankar summoned the make-up artist to come up with a similar hairdo for Rajnikant 22 years later.
- Rajnikant donned 15 different hair styles for this film. He also tonsured his head and shaven off his mustache for a get-up in this film. A make-up artist from France is flown in for this purpose.
- A few songs of this film are shot in USA and Sapin.
- Soundarya - daughter of Rajnikant - supervised the 600 scenes of Computer Graphics work that lasts for 50 minutes in this film. It took over an year to do this CG work.
- Bellamkonda Suresh is said to have bought the Telugu remake rights (excluding satellite, overseas, ringtones, audio etc) for a whopping 14 crores. It is also learnt that this film is sold for 20 crores in AP (4 crores for Ceded, 6.75 crores for Nizam and 9 crores from Andhra).
