Top Writers Running For Prabhas

There are many action heroes in the tinsel town, but our star writers are aiming at only one guy. He is none other than macho rebel star Prabhas. Check out the reasons.

With 'Rebel' getting wrapped up at jet speed, Prabhas is solely focusing on his next movies. Apparently, writer turned director Koratala Shiva is handling our hero in the upcoming 'Varadhi' (tentative title). Film Nagar buzz is that another popular writer Swamy has also narrated a story to Prabhas and the actor is very much interested in that script. Swamy is right now directing his debut movie 'Romance' and has worked for Prabhas' blockbuster movie 'Darling'. On the other hand, star writer Kona Venkat is also preparing a red hot subject for this macho hero.

Insiders are sharing that the down to earth nature of this hero and the freedom he gives for creative people that is making star-writers run for him. With the kind of fan following he is having, if right films fall at right times then he will also be a competitor for number one spot.

Prabhas gets a shock from SK

Prabhas's Rebel, which has been under production for so many years, is aiming for September release. Despite the delay fans are happy that it is going to get wide release without any competition. All other biggies that were planned for September release have been pushed to other dates. When things are looking bright for Prabhas, out came a competitor leaving Rebel fans in shock.

Sekhar Kammula's Life is Beautiful was actually planned for release in August. Now it has been pushed to September 13. LIB is not comparable to Rebel in any way. But the brand value of Sekhar Kammula is big in cities and overseas. It will not be easy for Rebel if LIB releases at the same time. Sekhar Kammula doesn't care about competition and has a knack of taking on biggies.

Anand was released along with Shankardada MBBS and Happy Days released against Chiruta. Sekhar don't bother about external factors and just releases his film when it is ready. If both the films release at the same time without any changes, we hope both the movies does well. Wait, September is also going to witness Shirdi Sai and Srimannarayana. Well, September is going to be huge for Tollywood.

Will Prabhas Comes Into Light?

This is the question that strikes our mind, when we hear or see anything about the soon to come 'Rebel'. All eyes are eagerly waiting for our Young Rebel star who is absent in talk and presence. Here goes the story.

From the moment 'Rebel' movie getting delayed, all eyes are on director Lawrence only. Anushka walked out of the movie, Thaman was kept aside, few songs changes, fights were re-shot and our dance-master is the reason for all this stuff, as per the speculation. And, with the recent teaser release too, Prabhas is not getting any attention but it is the quality of the output that is being discussed. Apart from that, heroines Tamanna and Deeksha Seth are all praises for Lawrence at the teaser-launch event, highlighting our tough dance-master. Looks like, Prabhas is no way getting the mentioning being dynamic lead-man of this film.

Insiders revealed that Prabhas wants to maintain a low until the film hits the screens. They say that even at audio function, our macho-man will play little guy as he wants to shut all mouths only with the result of 'Rebel'.

Rebel: First Look Talk

The first look of Prabhas & Tamanna starrer Rebel was unveiled Today (August 7). The protagonist was seen in trendy costumes, puffing a cigar and looking fiery in the poster bringing delight to the fans of Rebel Star. This pic will send a message to the film lovers that Rebel has everything in it one expects from a Prabhas film - Sleek & Stylish, Power-Packed Action Entertainer.

According to the unit, the teaser of Rebel will be out in the third week of August, while audio will be launched by this month end, film would hit the screens in mid-September.

Rebel was scheduled to release by the end of 2011, but that hadn't happened as the shooting got delayed due to various reasons like Anushka walking out of the project in the half way after getting vexed with director Lawrence's behavior, call sheet issues of Tamanna (who replaced Anushka) and other cast & crew of the film. Let's wait and watch to know whether this film is worth waiting for. For now, the first look promising and hopefully the film too lives up to the expectations.
