Hansika shifting base to Lungi Land

Apple pie beauty Hansika who is one of the most sought after actress in Kollywood is all set to relocate from Mumbai to Chennai. With her popularity touching peaks in Tamilnadu after back-to-back hits and having half a dozen Tamil films in her kitty, she is scouting for suitable place in Chennai to shift her base.

The actress is spending more time in Tamilnadu these days due to hectic shooting schedules. Around five films (Singham 2 with Suriya, Settai with Arya, Vettai Mannan and Vaalu with Simbu and Denikaina Ready with Vishnu) of Hansika are on the foods currently. Instead of juggling between Mumbai and Chennai very often, she is preferring to be in the city until she wraps up all the schedules.

Hansika is now searching for a hot property in a posh location at Chennai. "I'm looking out for an independent house near the sea. If I couldn't find it, I may go for an apartment," confirms the actress.

Milky Babe prefers M-roles Over Money

Unlike her contemporaries, Hansika is not keen on doing films in Bollywood any more although she had acted in quite a number of films in the past as child artist and also as female lead. She is vexed with the couple of songs & scenes roles offered for her in B-Town and the pay package too is minimal for this milky babe in the Hindi Film Industry.

"I could have done nearly 20 films by now in Bollywood, but I don't want to do the glam doll roles just for the sake of some quick bucks. In Bollywood, I was offered a maximum of 20 lakhs, but that's not the case in South. Apart from meaty roles opposite big stars, I'm getting paid more and also people treat me with respect here," says Hansika.

Hansika is one of the most sought after actress in South and her recent films in Kollywood had turned into money spinners. She has six big films opposite big stars in her kitty and she will be soon seen in a comedy entertainer 'Denikaina Ready' in which Manchu Vishnu is playing the lead. Hansika's strategy of waiting for the right script seems to be paying off!
