Its such a shame. Bride and groom had no moral values at all, and they took a very bad, hasty decision. I cant believe that atleast one of the friends who supported this did not have enough sense to remind them it is wrong to hurt parents & that it is too early to marry. They could have atleast waited for a couple of years.
Think some of the youth is so misguided here - Infatuations and crushes are okay, but how can any one fall in love at 14 ? Out of the hundreds/tens of friends who helped, guess atleast one person did not realise this / may be they thought they were being cool. After learning the issue(21Oct) and writing. It is not a new case on earth, yet I take this opportunity to tell something as follows..
1. Love should travel spherically taking both the families and societies into it and create comfortable place and should encourage others. This love(Srija's) is totally blind, when I saw the shock on her face after hearing about the 3 cases. She cannot deny this as it has come out from her lawyer itself.
2. Whether it is Chiru or any class family, will surely object the proposal with such a kind of guy. She has denigrated her father/family literally. Time for School/College Girls to learn from such an incident.
3. Never hurt parents/family/guardians who has taken care of you all along. If you smell any problem from either side, discuss a lot and conclude. Don't go blindly.
4. Be in a way, where you expect your offsprings to be. Don't expect they behave in same fashion and you can be alert..! But the outcome 'against parents' may prevail.
Despite all these, you are Indians/humans, hence I wish all the best and I expect these kind of incidents to be mitigated.
