Suriya to dub 'Maattrraan's' Telugu version

Karthi who had became an household name in Telugu had dubbed for his last movie, Sakuniand his brother Suriya is now doing exactly the same for his upcoming movie, Maattrraan. The movie was tentatively titled ‘Duplicate’ in Telugu but now the producer Bellamkonda Suresh had decided to name it ‘Brothers’. The title is really apt for the film since Surya will be seen as conjoined twins.

Bellamkonda insists Star Hero to change Title

Versatile actor Suriya's bi-lingual film 'Maattrraan' has got new title for it's Telugu version. Although the film was initially titled 'Duplicate', the makers has now zeroed in on 'Brothers'. With 'Duplicate' getting mixed response from the movie lovers, Bellamkonda who bought the Telugu theatrical rights insisted on changing the title if the film has to reach out to the audience. After much thought Suriya obliged and that's how the film got new title.

He Is Bigger Than Pawan And Mahesh

If buzz in Telugu and Tamil circuits is to be believed, we have to accept that Tamil hero Surya is bigger than our very own Powerstar and Superstar. The facts are mind blowing, but insiders shared that they are true.
 
A hero becomes a star when his movies get superb openings, good run and finally a blockbuster hit. And that hero becomes top-star when his remuneration lies on the high and still he is in huge demand.
 
Right now, Surya is getting 30 crores as a pay cheque for his films and this makes him ahead of Pawan and Mahesh. Both of our Telugu heroes stand at 15 and 10 crores spot only. For his latest film 'Maatran', dubbed in Telugu as 'Duplicate', he got paid 15 crores as salary and 15 crore Telugu rights, making up to a total of 30. With this figure Surya has surpassed all the heroes down South except the one and only Rajnikanth.
 
Trade experts say that Surya got good market in Tamil anyway and the same kind of market in Telugu. It is this fact that is getting him fat pay cheque to his pocket. So, should our heroes start expanding their presence in other tinsel towns immediately?

Rajamouli reacts on directing Rajnikanth & Surya

While gossipmongers are abuzz that ace director Rajamouli is in plans to direct a bilingual film in Telugu/Tamil versions with Surya in the lead role, the former has reacted on the news saying it is not finalized.

Media has reported that DVV Danayya might produce the film but Rajamouli has clarified the news saying, “Me and Suriya meet occasionally. Both of us are interested in working together. But there are numerous issues to be finalised before a film can be announced," said the Eega/Naan Ee director.

Rajamouli has also informed that he is not preparing any script to Rajinikanth’s film. “News about Rajinikanth garu asking me to prepare a story is completely false," said Rajamouli.

Rajamouli - Suriya movie on cards

SS Rajamouli had denied the rumor that he is asked by Rajnikant to prepare a script. Rajamouli has also said that he has met Suriya a couple of times regarding the possibility of making a movie together. But there are going to be many issues to be sorted out before going any further. Senior producer DVV Danayya is planning a movie in this combination.

Rajamouli’s first production venture Andala Rakshasi got released yesterday. He has bought 30% of share for this film a couple of weeks back from the producer Sai Korrapati.
