Bitter Battle between mega heroes

Tollywood is witnessing a different kind of battle this time. Till now heroes from Mega Star family teamed together and fought unitedly against other top stars with their films. However this year movie lovers are witnessing a bitter battle for supremancy on tollywood silver screen between mega heroes. Though this is delighting movie lovers and are savoring every momens, mega fans are at their wits end as to whom to support as all the heroes are from the same family and delivered stunning hits this year to make them happy.

The year stared off with Mega Power Ram Charan do 'Racha' along with milky beauty Tamanna much to the delight of mass fans. The very next moment Power Star Pawan Kalyan turned 'Gabbar Singh' and created a sensation across the world. More recently Stylish Star Allu Arjun turned Julaayi and is taking mega fans on a jolly ride. But already analysts feel stage is set for bitter battle between mega heroes. While Ram Charan is planning for a double strike in tollywood turning 'Nayak' in VV.Vinayak's direction and 'Yevadu' in Vamsi Pydipalli direction, Power Star Pawan Kalyan is turning 'Cameraman Gangato Rambabu' under Puri Jagannath direction. Not to be left behind is Stylish Star Allu Arjun who is shining for few seconds in Cherry's Yevadu before romancing with 'Iddaru Ammayilu' under Puri Jagannath's direction.

All in all these mega movies will be a treat to movie lovers but will surely leave mega fans in dilemma as which hero they have to side with in this bitter battle between their iconic stars.

Charan's fights at Quiznos Sub

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s action entertainer ‘Yevadu’ under the direction of Vamsi Paidipalli is currently being shot at Quiznos sub in Filmnagar.Charan and Amy Jackson are present at the shoot

Samantha is expected to join the shoot from October. Dil Raju is producing the movie under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for this film. Stylish Star Allu Arjun will be seen in a cameo in this movie.

Directors disappointed with Ram Charan

Vinayak usually completes his films at a fast pace and doesn't take much gap between two films. But that is not happening this time. His last film Badrinath was released in May, 2011. Vinayak took up Ram Charan's film Nayak as the follow up movie. Despite the story being ready Ram Charan took his own sweet time to start this film.

The film started rolling from February and not even thirty percent of the shoot is complete by now. Ram Charan is switching between this film, Yevadu and Zanjeer so that no one is getting Charan dates at a stretch. Nayak was actually planned for Dussera release, but it is postponed to Pongal. Even that doesn't look concrete as the film's shoot is going on at a very slow pace.

Not only Vinayak but also Vamsi Paidipalli, the director of Yevadu is disappointed with Charan's style of working. Yevadu was launched in March and only just few scenes and a couple of songs are complete to date. This film is unlikely to hit the screens until next summer. Vamsi took up this project immediately after Brindavanam and his time is being wasted due to bad planning of Charan. It is high time for the young actor to realize the value of time and plan accordingly.

Suspense over Charan's Heroine..

Mega powerstar Ram Charan is currently busy with three projects on the floor. First is being directed by V V Vinayak. The second is his Bollywood debut venture, the remake of 'Zanjeer' directed by Apoorva Lakhia and the third is 'Yevadu' being directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

While the first two projects are going fine, a hiccup has arrived in the third project. Apparently, the leading lady Samantha has been down with illness and no one is sure when she would be back. Now, it is heard that suspense has risen whether they would still want to continue with Samantha since the project is stuck.

Buzz is that Charan has been asking for the milky white beauty Tamannah. On the other hand, there is news that the apple pie beauty Hansika is also a hot contender. For now, the British beauty Amy Jackson is confirmed as the other heroine but the suspense continues over the first heroine. Let us see what happens.

Benchmark for a Tollywood Super Hit

In Bollywood collecting a gross collection of 100 crore in India has turned out to be the benchmark for a successful film. All the stars are aiming to reach that hundred crore mark with every film and we are witnessing more and more in the club in recent times. Likewise our Tollywood too has a benchmark for a super hit film.

Gone are the days where number of centers that the movie runs for fifty or hundred days used to be the true scale to measure a movie's success. Only number that matters now is how much share a movie collects. Tollywood has witnessed a string of super hits in less than a year's time and as per the statistics any movie that collects a share over forty crore can be termed as a super hit.

Businessman, Racha and Eega collected over forty crores share this year and Gabbar Singh went on to cross 60 crore rupees share. Gabbar Singh and Dookudu (55 crores share) were blockbusters as they went an extra mile and made it to 60 and 50 crores clubs respectively. 30 crores share used to be the benchmark for a Telugu film in the past. Now our super hits are crossing that mark in our state alone. Tollywood is shining and how?
