Tollywood since its inception has seen many stars and super stars. Movie lovers after watching the standard some tollywood films are left wondering whether any talented youngster can become super star delighting everyone. Currently tollywood is in the grips of influential few and many talented youngsters are in the sidelines of arc lights when people supported by influential families and persons are ruling the roost. 

True over the past decade or so, tollywood has seen debut of many young and upcoming heroes mostly backed by power houses. Currently tollywood whether one agrees or not is dictated and functions according to the whims and fancies of Mega Star Chiranjeev's family, Nandamuri's family, Daggubati family, Akkineni family and more recently even by Ghatamaneni's and Manchu families.

All the 24 arts of film making and their departments are ruled by them and one can not make a move without pleasing any one of them. Unlike olden days no big film maker encourages fresh talent and even if small film makers produce films casting new comers, they can not find theaters to screen film.

Movie lovers watch films featuring new comers only on word of mouth and just when a film is getting good talk, the film will be out of theaters thus dashing the dreams of many. Going by the current trend, genex movie lovers need only a miracle to watch a talented youngster cross all these impossible hurdles and become a super star.

Ram Charan's Rare Gift to Upasana

Looks like Mega Power Star is bringing his onscreen romantic nature on to real life too. He is trying all the possible ways to express his love to his wife. Going in to detail, 20 July was the birthday of Upasana. And Ram Charan has presented her with one of the finest gifts - a rare miniature breed horse. He had to import it from Ireland with the help of his sailor friend. He had planned it 5 months in advance to make it happen. Ram Charan has also requested his mother to use the lawn in the backyard to construct an air-conditioned stall for the pony. This rare miniature breed horse can grow up to 31 inches and has a life span of around 15 years.

NTR interested in Sagara Sangamam Remake !?

Sagara Sangamam which released in 1973 is one of the classics of Telugu film industry. The movie directed by K.Viswanath starring Kamal Hassan and Jaya Prada, had displayed the acting prowess of Kamal Hassan in a economically poor multi talented dancer. The movie was a perfect blend of art and tragedy. And now after these many years, Junior NTR had reportedly expressed his interest in acting the remake of the movie.

NTR is undoubtedly the most talented actors in current generation and he is well trained in Bharata Natyam. NTR himself expressed the interest to act in the remake to the veteran director. He assured him to give dates whenever he is ready to remake the movie.

The movie is a heart touching story of an economically poor multi-talented dancer Balu, adept at Bharata Natyam, Kathakali, Kuchipudi etc. Jaya Pradha acted in the role of Madhavi, a rich girl who notices his talent and helps in getting him an opportunity to fulfill his dream to perform at an All-India level competition. As he is all set to realize his dream, his ageing mother passes away which denies the fulfillment of his dream. Slowly, he gets closer to Madhavi and the day he wishes to propose to her, he realises that she is already married and her husband left her. Now the husband wants to re-unite with her which forces him to sacrifice his love. Years pass by and he turns into a drunkard. Meanwhile Madhavi loses her husband. She comes to know of Balakrishna who the doctors say is going to die soon. So she takes care of his medical needs and requests Balakrishna to teach dance to her daughter. The movie ends with Madhavi's daughter becoming a great dancer and the death of Balakrishna giving a message "There is no end to art".

Prabhas shifts focus to Varadhi !

The shooting delay of Rebel had made the schedule of Prabhas’ Varadhi haywire. He began the movie midway of Rebel and stopped it midway to accommodate dates for Rebel completion. And now Rebel is nearing completion. The last song shoot of the movie will be wrapped by August 9th. And then Prabhas will shift to the shooting of Varadhi.

Varadhi shooting is 50% complete till now. The unit will film scenes on Prabhas and Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay in this schedule in Hyderabad and are likely to shoot a song in Pollachi. Writer Koratala Siva is turning director with this movie. V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati are producing this film under UV creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film.
