Ileana Sets Time Frame for Bikini
Ileana who is eagerly waiting for the release of Bollywood debut Barfi is open to wear a bikini for her future projects. But, before doing that she has to met her own expectations. "If I was asked to sport a bikini for a role, I'm ready to do that but I need to check whether I'm in perfect shape to fit the bill. Firstly, I have to workout for six months and decide if I could pull it off," she asserted.

Star writer and director Trivikram is known for making wholesome entertainers. We don't get to see him angry. Even the bad boys in his films make us laugh. But Trivikram too can get furious if his team members are unprofessional. As per the buzz, the director is furious with Ileana, who starred in his latest flick Julayi.

Even a blockbuster is not working for her now. People are not ready to watch a skeleton walking around in glamorous outfits. Yes, this is about Ileana. She got a big hit with Julayi after very long time. But that is not helping her in any way as far as her Tollywood career is concerned. Ileana didn't get any credit for Julayi's success and the disastrous result of DCM made things even worse.
With future looking bleak, Ileana came up with an idea to resurrect her career. Ileana is one of the highest paid actresses in South India. She doesn't want that tag anymore. Ileana is planning to cut down her paycheck for big movies. Ileana wants to stay in competition and for that sake she is offering 30 to 40% discount on her regular remuneration.
However, Ileana won't be offering these Sale prices for small films. Ileana wants to star opposite big stars and hence she decided to cut down the prices. Besides she is also putting on few kilos to shut the critics mouths. That means a Sexier lady for a cheaper price. Well, this seems to be an interesting deal. Isn't it?

Synopsis:
Vishnu Murthy (Brahmanandham) tells a love story of two orphans to Lakshmi Devi on Akshaya Thruthiya day. Ravi Teja (Ravi Teja) is a settlement broker in Hyderabad while Ileana (Ileana) is a taxi driver in Bangkok. Both of them are orphans and they share common likes. Because of an arati thokka (Banana peel) thrown by Papayya (M.S.Narayana) on the road, the story takes a certain direction and Ravi Teja heads to Bangkok to negotiate a settlement between Circle Inspector Subba Raju (Subba Raju) and Bangkok Don Prakash Raj (Prakash Raj). He meets with Ileana in this process and falls in love with her. Rest of the story is about the game Vishnu and Lakshmi plays with Ravi Teja, Ileana and Prakash Raj.
Performances:
Ravi Teja is at his usual energetic self. He brings fabulous energy and entertainment with his interpretation of character. And we never get tired of his kind of comedy.
Ileana has lost herself in recent times. Somehow, the charm and beauty on her face is lost and her body looks too pale on the screen. The romantic track between Ravi Teja and Ileana never really takes off and the viewers will find it hard to connect with their feelings.
Though Prakash Raj was the main villain of the film, Puri uses him for comedy purposes in the role of a mafia don who forgets every thing in regular intervals. Jyothi Rana looks sufficiently vampish. Ali brings a few laughs as Bangkok taxi driver Goli. Brahmanandham and Kovai Sarla are good in their roles. Subba Raju did well in the little role he is offered. M.S.Narayana is seen in a very brief cameo. Fish Venkat is routine.
Technical Performances:
Puri Jagan said something interesting in the audio function of the film. “I made the film without a story”. He was telling the truth. This movie does not have a story but he entertained the audience through out the run time of the movie. The songs tend to come in at abrupt intervals and spoil whatever flow is there in the narrative. This is especially more evident in the second half, where screenplay is quite bad. He made good decision in restricting the run time of the movie to 2 hours otherwise it would have become difficult to entertain audience. Dialogues written by Puri are awesome as ever. Characterizations and Certain dialogues were too good. There were certain moments in the second half like the Anna Chellemma track between Prakash Raj and Ileana bored a bit but is manageable.
Raghu Kunche's music is average and picturisation of songs is okay. Cinematography and Editing is good.

Negatives:
1. No novelty in story
2. Ugly Ileana
3. Offers nothing for serious movie lovers
Final Say:
Devudu Chesina Manushulu might be the only movie in recent times which released with such low expectations in recent times. Expectations are almost zeroed due to several postponements. This might help the movie at box office. Watch it if you have nothing to do!
Hotties of Tollywood looking for hits
New talent and even more stunningly beautiful heroines always come to the film industry. So when people get a chance as a heroine, they should grab it both hands or else someone else will be taking it to become a star. There are no second chances on silver screen as film makers as in other fields run only after successful stars. Currently there are some heroines who are branded as flop heroines and are desperately looking for hits. As they are bereft of opportunities they are planning to test their luck in other regions. However they are again facing stiff competition from top heroines of tollywood.
Gorgeous Goan Beauty Ileana who hoped that her romance with Stylish Star 'Julaayi' will change her fortunes erasing the failure of Shankar's 'Snehitulu'. However all her hopes were dashed as she was branded as the biggest minus in 'Julaayi' success. Tempting beauty Tapsee's case is no different as she did not score a single hit till now. All her flicks are just average and in many films she is doing second heroine role and even B grade films. She is pinning all her hopes on 'Gundello Godari' and 'Shadow'. Deeksha Seth is already branded as iron leg of tollywood and until unless she comes out with a hit it will be difficult for her. Similar is the case with Bengali Beauty Richa Gangopadhyaya and Mallu bomb Amla Paul. Unless until all these hotties score a hit quickly it will be difficult for her to progress in the industry.

Censor Board cuts down Puri's bhoothulu
It is known to our readers that Ravi Teja starrer Devudu Chesina Manushulu had completed its censor formalities last week and the movie was awarded with U/A certificate. With this the movie is all set to release on August 15th. Here is the complete details of the cuts suggested by the board
1. Deleted the thigh exposure of heroine in the introduction shot
2. Deleted dialogues like Kosi, bum bum, neeyebba, neeyemma, dongamunda, sankanaki, pakkane padukobetti etc
3. Displayed the warnings during the duration of smoking
Rude comments on Sexy heroine
Looks like Ileana paid deaf ear to all the criticism and continued with her zero size avatar. She looked pale and dull in Julayi so that director Trivikram had to avoid close up shots on her. Trivikram apparently was aware of the criticism and took care by writing few dialogues on her physique and appearance. "Karuvochina country ki ambassador la undi", "Aa pilla maree pullala undi ra" were some of the rude comments made against Ileana.
Ileana cannot laugh them off as mere jokes because people are really feeling the same looking at her. She should immediately gain few kilos and get back to shape if she is hoping for a prolonged career. Given her looks in Julayi, she is definitely going to look the same in Devudu Chesina Manushulu as these movies were simultaneously made. That is some bad news for Ileana fans!
